The flame cutting: cutting equipment of low cost and is the only economic effective means of cutting thick metal plate, but in A285 Grade B slab cutting has its disadvantages. Compare with the plasma, flame cutting heat affected zone is much big, the thermal deformation is larger. For cutting accuracy effectively, the operator needs to have superb technical ability in the process of cutting in time to avoid A285 Grade B plate thermal deformation.
Laser cutting, laser cutting equipment can cut the following 4 mm A285 Grade B, add oxygen to the laser beam can be cut 20 mm thick A285 Grade B, but after add oxygen cutting in A285 Grade B steel cut surface to form thin oxide film. Cutting the maximum thickness can be increased to 20 mm, but cutting parts size error is bigger.
