Name : 5fmdmb2201
Type : synthetic cannabinoid of the indazole family
Chemical Name : 5F-MDMB-PINACA
5F-MDMB-2201 is a synthetic cannabinoid of the indazole family, and very closely related to the better known 5F-MDMB-PINACA. It is an indazole 3 carboxamide that is beginning to be seen in synthetic products around the world.
5F-MDMB-2201 is understood to be a very potent CB1 agonist, but it is not known whether it has a strong selectivity for CB1, or indeed if it is selective at all. More testing will be required in this area.
Links to deaths
A closely related product, 5F-ADB, was found in the bodies of ten people who died of unexplained overdoses in Japan in late 2104, leading to that substance being banned there. It is not currently known whether 5F-MDMB-2201 is toxic, but care should be taken with it in any case.
5F-MDMB-2201 is not known to be considered a controlled substance in any country or major jurisdiction at the moment, but it may be considered an analogue of 5F-ADB or related compounds. That might make its sale or possession illegal in certain jurisdictions, so care should be taken when importing this chemical.
5F-MDMB-2201 is sold purely as a research chemical, and is therefore unfit for human or animal consumption. It should be used only by trained personnel in a lab or forensic setting.
