Chromite is lack or brown, The main ingredient of chromite FeOr2O3. It is shaft and granular crystal system. The hardness is 5.5 and density is 4.3 g/cm3. Because melting point of chrome oxide is 1900℃,so can adjust high-temperature friction coefficient or decrease high temperature heat recession , clean the  friction couple in the high temperature to increase the efficiency of the brake. Chromite can applied in brake pad drum brake or clutch.The recommended regular consumption is 2—8％
