This HVC reel is our own design reel. It is the No.1 seller in our fly reel range.
The most strength of this is the Super light design. This very cool cutting make this reel to be the most light reel in the market with the sealed drag system.
The drag system is protected by the drag cover in the center. No dust or sand can get into the drag.
But for make the reel lighter and just right enough for usage. This drag is not 100% sealed. So a little water still can get into the drag. So if you use it in saltwater, after the usage, it is better to clean it for long time usage
Even though not 100% sealed. It is still definitely better than most of the reel that they call them to be waterproof. We are honest to the customers. So we call this reel to be Semi-waterproof.
