1. The main stream stepper driver A4988/A4982/DRV8825 maximum current not suits to exceed 1A(the temperature is 60 degree when 1A, if over 1.5A may over heating protection or burn). In this case, 1A stepper motor might be better for 3d printer than 1.2A/1.5A/1.7A stepper motor.
