Silicon nitride is widely applied as protective coating & film in non-ferrous smelting industry owing to its excellent anti-corrosion and non-infiltration property.

In steel industry, silicon nitride coating can efficiently solve the oxidation loss of billet  during heat-treatment process. Anti-oxidation silicate coating with millimicron size can reduce the mill scale of normal hot rolling sheet from 3-5% to 0.1% and stainless steel hot rolling from 1-3% to 0.2% .

The tapping hole clay of silicon nitride will play an effective role in sintering activation. corrosion resistance and division resistance. For furnace body or electric furnace, silicon nitride tapping hole clay can seal the hole of blast furnace well and be easily cut.
