Environmental Protection: Filter material has high cycle lift. The shape of pores won't change after long-time's use. They could be recycled after being burnt.
Multipurpose: They are acid & alkali proof and salt-resistant. Waste could be leached from water effectively. Which are suitable for different kinds of filtering system.

Filter material has so many different shapes, but the main filter functions are same. All has physical filter and biochemical filter, but filtering effect will differ due to the different shape.  Details are as follows:

Filtering ring: When water go through the filtering rings, they will go through the center pores with high flow speed, so that the useful bacteria have enough place for breeding. In this case the biochemical filtering effect is good, but the physical filtering effect is inferior by comparison.
Filtering ball: The filtering ball is  with high density. When water go through filtering materials are more evenly distributed. So the physical filtering effect are good, but the efficiency of favorable bacteria's breeding is not as good as filtering rings.

Usage:

Please clean the filter by water before filling materials in the filter groove. Different filter materials can be placed as single layer or mixed together.
1L bio-chemical filtering materials can be used for 60L(60kg) water. Filtering effect is related to the using time, density of fishes and aquatic plants, water quality and size of stream.

Glass Ceramic Filter works as a 'cleaner' in the water ecosystem. It can improve the water quality efficiently and has outstanding characteristics in relation to water flow, water PH improvement, oxygen content stabilization etc. All these  can successfully restore the water to its original crystal clear state.  
       Glass Ceramic Filters are mainly used in biological filtration system. They have the characteristics of wide specific surface, high porosity, strong pollution cleaning ability. They provide a favorable source for beneficial bacteria and for the reproductive growth of the aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria which are the two main necessary bacteria for the water quality purification of aquaculture.
