Sandblast hose is widely used in military defense, such as disaster relief in mountainous area. It is mainly used to deliver gravel in this application. So it is also called military defense sandblast hose. It is highly resistant to abrasion, so it works well in delivering gravel. It is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. Tube is made from the mixture of polyurethane and butyl rubber, adding special reinforcing agent, making the hose highly resistant to abrasion and high pressure. Reinforcement is made from multiple layers of high tensile steel wires or high quality rubber cloth, making the hose have solid structure and bear high working pressure. Cover is made from natural rubber or neoprene, making the hose resistant to abrasion, corrosion, weather, ozone, heat, chemicals and aging.
Military defense sandblast hose can bear high working pressure because of its steel wire reinforcement.
