Vortex Flowmeter Introduction: HN-LUGB series vortex flowmeters pipeline medium flow measurement provides a more scientific solution. HN-LUGB series of instruments that can be completed simultaneously measure four parameters in the medium pipe (different models have different functions): mass flow, volume flow, pressure, temperature and the like. HN-LUGB unique design is easy to install, easy to use, easy maintenance, and many other features to meet customer process parameters for measuring high precision and high reliability requirements. This product can measure liquid, gas, steam, are multi-purpose high-precision flow measurement products. Products into one, split, plug-in.


HN-LUGB Series Intelligent Vortex Flowmeter

I. Overview:
    HN-LUGB electronics in ensuring greater range than the conditions allow you to re-configure the most gas, liquid, steam. A meter output (optional) pulse signal for metering the amount of accumulation of three (optional) 4-20mA DC signal for the measurement and control of process parameters. Field engineering unit display: instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, temperature, pressure, density and so on. This instrument is widely used in metallurgy, electric power, coal, chemical, petroleum, transportation, construction, textile, food, medicine, agriculture, environmental protection and people's daily life, and other fields of the national economy. But also for the primary energy (such as coal, crude oil, coal bed methane, LPG and natural gas), secondary energy (electricity, coke, artificial gas, refined oil, liquefied petroleum gas, steam) and energy carriers working fluid (air, oxygen , nitrogen, hydrogen, water) to achieve energy saving and improve economic efficiency, scientific management and often choose measurement instruments.

    HN-LUGB series of multi-parameter vortex flowmeter uses a unique sensor directly measuring three parameters --- speed, temperature, pressure, mass flow rate monitoring. Built-in flow computer by three parameters to calculate the mass flow and volume flow. Detachable temperature, velocity and pressure sensors located Vortex meter body. There is a built-in shunt flow meter body, by measuring the frequency of the vortex generated by the shunt body to measure fluid velocity. Temperature is measured using standard RTD, which can automatically correct for temperature changes due to the dielectric fluid flow measurement error. Pressure is measured by a pressure sensor to measure, and can automatically correct change due to media pressure fluid flow measurement error. These three components are mounted on the body of the vortex flowmeter, and is located downstream of the shunt body.

Second, characteristics
 - The use of the patented product - piezoelectric crystal sensors.
 - Generating body of two piezoelectric elements to detect the generated vortices, detecting element does not contact with the medium.

 - Pressure, temperature self-compensation;

 - Up to 12 flow linear correction to ensure instrument accuracy.

    Medium temperature range: (- 50- + 250) ℃, (- 50- + 350) ℃.

 - Power supply:
  a) Three-wire:
    When using external power supply: 12 ~ 24VDC / 30mA (-20% ~ + 15%), no output as low as 6V.
    When using backup battery (optional): Lithium battery 3.6V (4 / 7Ah) /1.2mA.
  b) two-wire system: 15 ~ 24VDC / 4-20mA (-20% ~ + 15%).

 - output signal:
  a) Three-wire:
    ⑴ pulse output: high ≥5V (supply voltage -1V), low level <0.5V, including pull-up resistor 1K open collector output. Having a real-linear correction function.
    ⑵ three-wire 4 ~ 20mA linear current output correction (the need for ground), (24V when the load circuit ≤800Ω)
    ⑶RS485 Communication: RS485 communication interface can be configured instrument. Communication distance ≤1200mm.

  b) two-wire system:
    ⑴ wire 4 ~ 20mA linear current output correction (24V when the load circuit ≤500Ω).
    ⑵ optical isolator without correcting the original pulse output: high ≥5V (supply voltage -1V), low level <0.5V; including pull-up resistor 1K open collector output, an additional power supply.
    ⑶HART Communication: Supports 57 common commands 14 frequently used commands.

Fourth, the installation
