- Where the water is flowing down from the high levels at the hill side and no horizontal streams, this vertical microturbine is designed to capture the water momentum to generate electricity.
- When this device installed in a tray with a 3m or less support frame sitting right below the water fall, it will generate electricity.
- Also in some case suitable for generating electricity where artificial falls and fountains are built in cities.
