304 stainless steel has a high resistance to corrosion and lends itself to many types of fabrication, making it one of the most widely used forms of stainless steel used today.

All of our 304 stainless steel sheet and stainless steel coil is ordered to specific decimal thicknesses.

Our 304/304L can be supplied from widths of 48" down to .250" and standard lengths of 96" and 120", but are capable of shearing or custom leveling to your required lengths and widths.

304/304L can also be slit to your desired width.

TP INOX CO.,LTD 304 stainless steel sheet and stainless steel coil is supplied to AMS 5513, and 304L stainless steel sheet and stainless steel coil is supplied to AMS 5511.

Product Description:

Chemical composition

The chemical composition of various elements of grade 304 stainless steel coil,sheet and plate-covered under ASTM A240.

A Maximum,unless range or minimum is indicated.

B Designation established in accordance with Practice E527 and SAE J 1086 .

C Unless otherwise indicated,a grade designation originally assigned by the American Iron and Steel Institute(AISI).

D Carbon analysis shall be reported to nearest 0.01% except for the low-carbon types.which shall be reported to nearest 0.001% .

Mechanical Properties

The mechanical properties for grade 304 stainless steels are listed in the table below

A Unless otherwise indicated,a grade designation originally assigned by the American Iron and Steel Institute(AISI).

B Yield Strength shall be determined by the offset method at 0.2% in accordance with Test Dethods and Definitions A370 .Unless otherwise specified (see Specification A480/A480M,paragraph 4.1.11,Ordering information),an alternative method of determining yield strength may be based on total extension under load of 0.5%.

C Either Brinell or Rockwell B Hardness is permissible.

D Bend tests are not required for chromium steels(ferritic or martensitic) thicker than 1 in.

 [25 mm] or for any austenitic or duplex(austenitic-ferritic)stainless steels regardless of thickness.

*Note:This grade is non-magnetic in annealed condition but become slightly magnetic after cold working.
