The water-soluble salt-based cores in the shape of a ring are used in the conventional pressed disk method of production. The core-shooting process allows for complicated shapes and designs. Cores are manufactured in line with proven ceramic principles and materials are developed on the basis of special salt mixtures. Continuous system advancements already make it possible to use salt cores in die casting today. Moreover, suitable, emission-free, inorganic binder systems are also used.
The salt core will be placed at the piston head when casting. Upon completion of casting, melt and flush out the salt then the internal cooling channel is formed. This channel will help reduce the temperature of piston head.Our salt cores not only have accurate dimension, accurate shape, high strength,but also easy to melt that can be thoroughly cleaned with in 10 seconds.
