PAC 50 is powdered activated carbon manufactured specifically for excellent purification performance for removal of color bodies and a broad range of other impurities. PAC 50 is characterized by large specific surface area, very strong adsorptive power, low impurity content, and effective filtering ability. This product is particularly effective for the purification of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food products, juices, and wines. PAC 50 is manufactured from wood (sawdust) using a chemical (H3PO4) activation process. PAC 50 meets the food-grade quality of activated carbons as defined in the current edition of the Food Chemicals Codex.
