♦ Product description
Acid proof ceramic tile is an acid&corrosion resistant material made of quartz, feldspar, clay, etc. through high temperature oxidation decomposition. Can withstand various acids and corrosions.
♦ Purpose of use
Acid resistant ceramic tile consists of more than 70% of silicon dioxide and made by roasting. Roasting under the high temperature , it forms large amount of mullite which has strong acid resistance. With the dense structure and low water absorption, it can withstand any concentration of alkaline medium at room temperature except high temperature of molten alkali. Mainly used in paving acid groove, acid well, acid tank, acid storage pool and ground which can withstand high acid impact in the field of chemical industry.
♦ Features of acid proof ceramic tiles
Dense structure
Low water absorption Excellent performance in resistance to acid and corrosion Pressure resistant Abrasion resistant Permeation proof Easy-clean Acid and alkali resistant |
♦ Applications
Ceramic acid resistant tiles are widely used in corrosion projects of towers, ponds, tanks and grooves in the field of petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, chemical fiber, textile, metallurgy, power plants and other industries, and while have excellent corrosion resistant performance in construction sites such as underground sewage channels , ope-air ground etc.
Except hydrofluoric acid and hot phosphoric acid, it has excellent corrosion resistance to warm chlorine-containing brine, hydrochloric acid(HCl), sulfuric acid, nitric acid and other acids, and any concentration of alkali at room temperature.
♦ Operating manual
A. Paving with general epoxy resin motar and acid-resistant cement. Please operate it in accordance with the the manuals provided by the corresponding factories.
B. Please clean the concrete surface by oxalic acid to get neutralization of acid and alkali before paving.
C. For industrial acid resistant ceramic tile, the gap width keeps at 8-10mm. In case of leakage, it is advisable to keep the gap depth and thickness of tiles parallel and level with each other.
D. After paving finished, it should clean the surface by oxalic acid to ensure it more solid.
