Asbestos sheet making machine production process:

There are different ways of manufacturing asbestos cement products: molding process, dry process, wet process, wet mechanical process. The wet mechanical process can mass produce varied shapes by the addition of mechanical operations to the basic process.

Factors influencing asbestos-cement products include manufacturing process, composition, forming pressure, method of cure, and environmental conditions.

Generally, the long asbestos fibers or higher percentages of fibers will produce higher strength properties.

By using higher curing pressures or forming pressures, increased density can be achieved which in turn produces higher strength properties. The higher density products are less porous and sometimes give the effect of improving chemical resistant properties.

Manufactured from a mix of asbestos fibers and hydraulic cement, asbestos cement roof sheets are rigid, durable and fireproof. They would not warp or rot and are resistant to damage caused by insects. For decades asbestos roof sheets are considered an invaluable resource offering a superior, inexpensive alternative to traditional roof coverings.

Asbestos cement combines the advantages of both cement and asbestos. Cement has a strong compressive strength and a weak resistance to tension, asbestos is just opposite. As a compound building material, asbestos cement is popularly used for ceiling & roofing sheets.

There are different types of roofing materials: prefabricated part, reinforced concrete, metal tile, clay tile, colorful cement tile, asbestos cement sheet, etc. Due to high price, reinforced concrete, metal tile, colorful cement tile is usually used for top grade industrial factory building, residence, civilian purpose permanent roofing materials. Traditional clay tile is prohibited due to weak strength, short service life, high water absorption, environment pollution, consumption of land source.
 

Due to cheap price, asbestos sheet is widely used as roofing materials for industrial and agricultural dwellings, temporary buildings. With the development of economic, enterprise scale expansion, industry and agriculture restructuring, asbestos sheet is in great demand.

Traditional handmade method has the disadvantage of uneven dosing, nonuniform thickness, short service life. Machine-made technology is now mature, stable in performance, high automation, easy to operate, low labor intensity, high efficiency. The quality of machine-made is much higher than hand-made.
