CT500 is a self-powered GSM/GPS tracker with 3 years long battery life time. It's typically

used for valuable Assets Tracking and Management. It's featured with GPS/CellID dual

tracking, super low voltage startup from DC2.0V, less than 1uA standby current.

The AGPS technology can provide faster and longer position fix capability.

How to make CT-500 working?

 

 

-Tools need to have:

     

 

1.  Insert SIMCARD

 

After Inserted the SIMCARD, put battery back.

Warning: Don’t reverse the battery sides to avoid device burn!!!!

 

2.  By push the “Activation button” to wake up device for ready SMS configuration:

-Push the “Activation Button” once:

 

-Check the Working LED in the front side:

 

Now it’s ready for sending configuration SMS command.

 

3.  In active mode, send SMS commands to device for configuration:

-Configure Server IP and Port Number

SMS command:

<*P:0000*T:211.154.142.150,9120*U:211.154.142.150,9120>

0000: device default SMS password.

211.154.142.150: Tracknig server IP Address

9120: Server Listen Port

 

-Configure APN parameter:

SMS command:

<*P:0000*A:APNname,APN username,APN passwor t;

 

-Configure Position data update time interval:

SMS Command:

<*P:0000* TLBS:180*TGPS:180>

TLBS:180

 

TGPS:180   Data included GPS coordinates>

The above command will configure device to update position data to server:

When GPS is non-fixed, update LAC/CID code every 3hours

When GPS is fixed, update coordinates every 3 hours.

 

4.  Registered your CT-500 in Tracking Platform:

-  Get correct Device ID

CT-500 Device ID is created by 00013+ S/N Code on tracker body

00013 is fixed code need put in front of the S/N Code.
