     DEAE cellulose is diethyl aminoethyl cellulose. It is a kind of anion exchanger, fibrous or granular. As the column chromatography separation material, and it is one of the most widely used in ion exchange cellulose. It is not soluble in ethanol, water, acid and dilute alkalis. It is often used in separation of  neutral and acidic proteins, polysaccharides, nucleic acids and other substances. Also used for plant extract.
