Dual Needle Elastic Staple -
The Dual Needle Elastic Staple System (VNS) offers packaging operations in multiple industries a labor-saving alternative to twists-tie, metal staples, clam shell, skin pack, tape and other conventional fastening technologies.This system efficiently fasten items such as house wares, toys, and hardware tools to board and paper packaging line.  Automated systems have been developed for tools and similar products and Texpak has the capabilities to assist you in developing a solution for your application.
The system employs an adjustable double-needle applicator to accommodate various products, a high capacity reel of 10,000 fasteners, and a brush anvil.  The pneumatic-powered applicator is positioned above a packaging line, while the anvil is positioned underneath the product.  When the system is actuated, the applicator applies an Elastic Staple around the product and secures it to the board or paper packaging in less than a second.  The system's brush anvil provides a firm application surface,yet permits the fasteners to be applied through the board of paper.  Fasteners loaded in the system automatically advance after each actuation and are available in six lengths:3/4" (19mm); 1/2" (12.7mm); 1 3/16" (30mm); 1 3/4" (44mm);2 1/8" (54mm); 2 1/2" (64mm).  Dispensed fastener stretch to conform to the product that is being packaged.
Single Needle Elastic Staple -
The Elastic Staple Single Needle Fastening System (SNS) offers packaging operations in the sock and Hosiery Market a labor-saving alternative to thread bar tack, tape, plastic bags and other forms of packaging.  The needle for this unit has a penetration length of almost 1 1/4" so it can go through more thickness than anything else on the market.
The single needle is inserted through the product. Upon activation, the T end elastic staple fasteners is shot through the needle and stretches to insure a tight fit every time.  That means merchandise looks more appealing and product presentation stays consistent.  This system uses the same fasteners as the dual needle system described above.
