16-Channel Intelligent Laptop Battery Test Machine
RFNC8 is a multifunctional device for intelligent laptop battery testing and management, the device is powered on, simply use the USB cable connected to the computer and by our RFNC8 battery management software, you can control and management 16-channel batteries working properly.
1.Charge:Battery charge include following several stages，the initial battery charge mode depending on battery starting voltage , the charging process may not need to activate and pre-charge
Pre-charge condition：Single voltage is less than 3000mV
2)Constant Current mode
Constant condition: single voltage is higher than 3000mV but less than 4200mV, enter the fast charge, current varies due to capacity
End Charge: constant voltage charging ,current will gradually decrease, when the current is less than the termination of current or power reaches 100% and the current is less than 1A, charging is completed
Meet one of the following conditions，charging end：
Additional condition of end charge：Power reaches the set value.
Internal constant current discharge，discharge current default is 500mA, up to 3A.You can set the discharge current through RFNC8 software ,may exist a little deviation between set value and actual value，specific value is unrelated with batteries.
Meet one of the following conditions，discharge end：
Capacity Percentage ≦Set value
Voltage ≦Set voltage value
Discharge current is 0
By charging and discharging the battery for short time，to test the charge/ discharge function is good or bad . Charge 20s, discharge 10s.
Test OK ,the LED green light flashing , and the software pop-up prompt.
Test Fail ,the LED red light flashing and the software pop-up prompt
Reasons of Test “NG” and Solves
Battery voltage is low，lead to discharge failure. Try to charge the battery，increase the voltage then test again.
Battery power is too high，lead to charge failure. Try to discharge the battery，until the battery remove the "full power" signs then test
Battery connecting wire poor contact
Equipment failure or battery is bad
The battery capacity value in the battery management chip will different from the actual capacity after a battery goes through many recycling cycles. It will affect the use of the battery when the difference reaches a certain degree. Capacity correction is to deep discharge a battery and then fully charge, which will correct the capacity value in the battery management chip.
Discharging current can be set via Battery Manager. Deep discharge will cause a battery losing communication with tester, so battery dropping phenomenon may happen in the discharging process if the end capacity and voltage are set too low. In such a case, active charge will make the battery work again.

6.CD50% & DC50%
CD50%: charge firstly, and then discharge to 50% capacity
DC50%: discharge firstly, and then charge to 50% capacity
Charge and discharge follow the general end condition.
Capacity correction、charge/ discharge 50% capacity follow the general charge discharge constraints. especially in deep discharge may interrupt the communication, therefore need to set up a reasonable constraint conditions
7. LED Indication
Green light：Normal Charge
Green flash：Task completion
Red light：Normal discharge
Red flash: Abnormal alarm (possible reason: charge without current, discharge without current, work overtime or activation fails)
8. Intelligent Protection
1) over-current protection, overvoltage protection:
Normally the current and voltage are in the limit range. Even though this part of the circuit failure, power outlets at the fuse can also ensure that the output current does not exceed 3A
2) Short circuit protection:
Hardware short-circuit protection, when the battery is reversed or shorted power isnot out
3) active cooling:
Discharge states (if the current existence) fan starts;
Other states, when the temperature is higher than about 48 ℃ fan starts, when the temperature is below about 40 ℃ fan stops
4) Exception alarm:
Termination function being executed when an exception occurs, and the LED flashes red
