SBR rubber sheet introduction  

 

Styrene-butadiene rubber. A polymer used in the manufacture of expanded rubber. It is very economical and possesses no unique chemical resistance properties. 

 

SBR rubber can be compounded to provide very fine abrasion, wear, and tensile qualities. SBR can be readily substituted for natural rubber in many applications with significant cost savings. Resilience is about the same as natural rubber. 

 

SBR rubber is a staple in the HVAC and construction industry as it is versatile, flexible and tough enough to stand up. 

 

 

SBR rubber is a good choice when deciding to choose a material that has great mechanical properties and flexibility. Good abrasion resistance,excellent impact strength fine resilience and a high tensile strength acids.

SBR rubber sheet Properties

1) Excellentsbr rubber sheet mechanical properties.

2) More resistant to ageing and temperature than Natural Rubber. These properties can be improved further by careful compounding.

3) Temperature range: -50º C to +110º C.

4) SBR materials tend to have only moderate resistance to tearing, ozone and general weathering.

5) Good resistance to many inorganic chemical products.

6) Limited resistance to mineral oils; not recommended for use with oxidising acids and general organic liquids
