1. General
1.1 Application
HVJ7-1.14 1600AC series high current AC vacuum contactor (hereinafter referred to as contactor)is suitable for electrical equipment with AC 50-60HZ, rated operation voltage 1140V, rated operation current 1600A to close or open circuit directly or remotely. What’s more, it is applicable for AC-1, AC-2 high current control.
1.2 Feature
a) Contactor uses the layout form that main circuit is in front of control circuit, making it small in size, safe, easy to install and maintain.
b) Contactor uses vacuum chamber as the arc-extinguishing element which contains contact with wear-proof and low current-intercepting materials, making the overvoltage low and breaking ability good. It has no flashover and is also long life, safe, noiseless, environmentally friendly.

2.1 regular service conditions
2.1.1 Ambient air temperature: The ambient air temperature should be -5℃~40℃, the daily average temperature should not exceed 35℃.
2.1.2 Altitude: Not exceed 2,000m.
2.1.3 Atmospheric condition:
a) Highest temperature not exceed +40℃. Air relative humidity should not exceed 50%. It can be a higher relative humidity, if under a lower temperature, such as the air relative humidity can reach 90% under 20℃.
b) Proper measures should be taken for the condensation caused of the temperature change.
c) Pollution degree: Ⅲ
2.1.4 Working place: Working place must be free from dropping of water, inflammable and explosive dangerous, chemical gas and violent vibration.
2.1.5 Installation condition: The angle of the installation platform on the vertical platform not exceed 5°.
