Glucoamylase enzyme, feed grade enzyme
Application
GA1500 is used to saccharify liquified mash from various sources including corn, milo, barley, wheat, rice, potatoes and tapioca.
Product highlights
An ideal glucoamylase for saccharification that saves your production costs in the following aspects:
1.Increase fermentation rate;
2.Efficient starch/dextrin degradation;
3.Full-utilization of raw materials;
4.Capable to saccharify various starch materials like corn, milo, barley, wheat, rice, potatoes and tapioca.
Description
GA1500 is made from selected strains of Aspergillus Niger using submerged fermentation, extraction and refining techniques. GA1500 has a high conversion rate of starchy substrates into fermentable sugars. GA-1500 can hydrolyze α -D-1, 4 glucosidic bonds from the non-reducing end of starch one after. This enzyme also hydrolyzes the α -D-1, 6 glucoside branch bonds of starch and cleaves the α -1, 3 bonds, releasing glucose.
Product characteristics
Declared enzyme: Glucoamylase
Systematic name: EC 3.2.1.3, 1, 4-alpha-D-glucan glucohydrolase
Activity: 150, 000 U/g (minimum)
Appearance: Pale brown powder
Moisture: 8% (Maximum)
Effect of pH
Effective pH range for GA1500 is 3.5 to 4.5. For maximum activity, the optimal pH of this product is 4.0 to 4.5.
Effect of Temperature
The effective temperature range for GA-1500 is 30 to 65° C. The optimal temperature range is 55 to 60° C.
Dosage Guidelines
GA1500 is generally added at a level of 0.06 to 0.08% w/w (dry solids basis). The actual enzyme requirement is dependent on the raw materials, temperature, reaction time, and pH of the individual plant saccharification/fermentation process, and its desired result.
