1.Product introduction

AR9331 chip from ATHEROS is applied in AR9331 WIFI module (it is a WIFI chip with lowest power consumption among like products; compared with others, it features low power consumption, less heat production and stable performance); AR9331 WIFI module is a core-board module that highly integrates AV coding, wireless WIFI, route, P2P, relay and network searching, has been widely applied in such sectors as the wireless IPCAM solution, smart home device remote control, Internet remote control and VOIP.

The module compliant to802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Solution for low power, low-cost, and highly integrated AP and consumer electronic devices, the module requiring only a external 3.3Vpower supply and connection to antenna.

The module based on the single chip AR9331 which integrates an 802.11n 1x1 MAC/BB/radio with internal PA and LNA.It supports 802.11n operations up to 72Mbps for 20 MHz and 150 Mbps for 40MHz channel respectively, and IEEE 802.11b/g data rates.

5. Internet P2P penetration, transceiving of network data, allowing for the only ID addressing, connection and transparent data transmission;

6. Support USB camera, real-time video monitoring, audio monitoring, audio talkback and pan-tile control;

7. Support various peripheral access and custom development of various functions;

8. Support various WIFI working modes: AP, Client, Relay and bridging;

9. Support various audio encoding and decoding formats: SPEEX, G726, G711, ADPCM, etc.

1. Support various UVC cameras and 720P CMOS photodetectors;

2. Support real-time video monitoring and recording, and allow for video coding formats such as H264, MJPEG, JPEG, etc.;

3. Support bi-directional audio and various CODEC formats such as PCM, G726, ADPCM, etc.;

4. Support pan-tile control and provide for advanced pan-tile functions such as expansion of presetting bits, tracks and park;

5. Support P2P mobile phone video monitoring, P2P video, voice talkback and camera control, etc.;

6. Support browser video monitoring, allowing for real-time video checking, pan-tilt control and camera setting in the browser;

 

4.2 Smart home solution:

1. Support 10-bit accuracy AD and DA, and detection of various signals and analog quantity control;

2. Support dozens of IO port expansion for various digital quantity detections and control;

3. Support household appliance control via P2P mobile phone, such as LED lamp, curtain, and air conditioner and so on;

4. Support interface control via browser for convenient implementation and application;

5. Support detailed log record for convenient inquiry of historical events;

 

4.3. Internet network remote control solution

Support P2P penetration, end-to-end equipment connection and data transmission as well as data forwarding, effectively covering the P2P dead zone and achieving 100% data communication. For the existing UPNP solution on the market with low communication ratio, the increased forwarding function with up to 100% communication ratio would remove nearly all terminal interconnection barriers.

 

4.4. WIFI remote control solution

1. Support 802.11BGN specifications, allowing for wireless data transmission between points spacing tens of meters;

2. Support WIFI relay functions, allowing for direct extension of transmission distance among multiple access points without having to increasing WIFI routers;

3. Support WIFI roaming and automatic roaming among different APs, allowing for interruption-free transmissions for mobile devices.

1. Support various audio encoding and decoding formats for various VOIP terminal developments: SPEEX, G726, ADPCM, G711, etc.
