Brief Introduction:

Eastron SDM220M series is single phase two wire Din rail meter. SDM220M is multifunction meter

for measuring kWh, Kvarh, KW, Kvar, KVA, PF, Hz, dmd, V, A, etc with RS485 Modbus protocol. 

The data can be transported by isolated RS485. It is provided with a nonvolatile memory system 

that the reading are not lost or altered when power off. It uses advanced special recording integrated 

circuit with high precision. It is highly accurate, durable, reliable, low power consumptive, without reversion,

creep-proof, antI tampering, and bilateral  recording with  strong overloading  capability. It conforms to the 

related requirements of  IEC62053-21 ,  and pass EN61326-1:2006 and EN61010-1:2010 in world 

famous Lab.

Output

Pulse Output The meter provides two pulse output, both of them are configurable. 

The pulse output can be set to generate pulses to represent kWh or kVarh.

Rate can be set to generate 1 pulse per: 0.001(default) /0.01/0.1/1kWh/kVarh.

Pulse width: 200/100/60ms

RS485 output for Modbus RTU 

The meter provides a RS485 port for remote communication. Modbus RTU is the 

protocol applied. For Modbus RTU, the following RS485 communication parameters 

can be configured from the Set-up menu. 

Baud rate: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, (19200, 38400 optional)

Parity: NONE/EVEN/ODD

Stop bits:1 or 2

Modbus Address: 1 to 247

Mbus is optional
