Product Description

In order to meet the demands of protecting oil & gas pipeline from corrosion, our company recently developed heat shrinkable pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. The structure of the product is modified pressure-sensitive adhesive from butyl rubber covers radiation cross-link polyethylene substrate. It enjoys following advantages: interface firmly bonded, high mechanical stability, good resistance to water vapor and oxygen permeability, easy to repair, less energy consumption, fast assembly-line and so on. PRI-SZCY can protect the pipeline from corrosion for a long time. Since the product have long service life, it is suitable for the repair of newly built pipe and in-service pipe.

Feature:

Suitable for the project of newly built pipe and in-service pipe
Short preparation time; only need to remove the vapor in the surface of steel pipe, no demand for preheating
It is no need for primer; only need to use wire brush and abrasive tape to clean the surface of steel pipe.
Butyl rubber has the high viscosity and shouldn’t melt in service; it will become soft in the contractile force of base material.
