AB PE 20 S is a masterbatch containing 20% synthetic silica in LDPE MFI 20 base resin ; it is used to

prevent blocking during unwinding of PE films and to allow easy opening of PE bags and sachets.

USAGE

AB PE 20 S is used in both cast film and blown film processes, for LDPE and LLDPE.

AB PE 20 S is used to give surface friction to PE films while also giving excellent optical properties.

Synthetic silica gives a better transparency than natural silica and the additive chosen in AB PE 20 S

gives excellent optical properties.

RECOMMENDED ADDITION RATES

Antiblock agents are used in polyethylene film from 0.2 to 0.5 %. Therefore, we recommend

concentrations of AB PE 20 S between 1.0 and 2.5 %.

FOOD CONTACT STATUS

AB PE 20 S is suitable for food contact applications.

PACKAGING

Product is packed in 25 kg PE sacks on shrink-wrapped pallets of 1375 kg.
