Function Description for 3G/WIFI 

Mobile Power Supply

I.Product panel description:

 

Diagram 1: From left to right in a sequence: USB disk/3G internet access card USB port, internet wire port, USB discharge port.

  

Diagram 2: Switch up for WIFI off (including power supply of USB disk/3G internet access card port ), switch down for WIFI on, small hole for recovery of set function ex-factory.

 

Diagram 3: The key is the switch of power consumption search, there are 4 blue LED lights for power consumption indication at lower part of the key area. The top left red LED light is for WIFI signal indication. The right green one is for network data indication.

 

Diagram 4: Mobile power supply charge port. The adaptor can be connected with this USB port for charging of this mobile power supply.

II. Mobile power supply----function description

1. Output voltage for the mobile power supply is 5V while rated output current is 1.5A. 

2. Power consumption indication: When 4 lights are all on, it means 100% power, when 3 lights are on, it means 75% power, when 2 lights are on, it means 50% power, when 1 light is on, it means 25% power, when 1 light flashes, it means power is less than 25%.

3. When mobile power supply is under the standby condition, once mobile phone is pl ed in, output will be automatically on. Corresponding relevant power consumption indication will be on. When load is unpl ed, output will be automatically off. corresponding power consumption indication will be off.

4. Voltage for charging this mobile power supply is 5V and minimum requirement for current is 1A. When charging, the last light of relevant power consumption indicator will flash. It means it’s charging. When it is fully charged, 4 lights will be all on.

5. When WIFI is switched on, power consumption indicators will be automatically on for monitoring power consumption of internal battery.

 

III. 3G/WIFI----function setting description for navigation pages

All the control of mobile WIFI is realized through navigation pages of static IP address.(The following diagrams are from Samsung NOTE-II with Android)

1. Entering navigation page:

 

First step: Turn on WIFI switch of this mobile power supply and wait for about one minute, then click “setting” of the mobile phone, turn on WIFI, and select WIFI name of this product. When the product is deliverd from the factory, WIFI name of the product is “wifi_xxxxxx”,the last 6 digit X is random code. Click this name and get “connection”, left diagram is for well connected one.

Second step: Turn on the browser of mobile phone, input static IP address: 192.168.10.1 in address column of web page. After it is set, enter the above diagram of navigation page of mobile phone. Respective entry items are as follows: wireless setting, wire setting, bridge setting, internet access setting, FTP setting, network file, advanced setting, 3G internet access.

2. Wireless setting: Set WIFI security key.

First step: Click “wireless setting” icon for entering interface

Second step: Click right column of security mode. Select corresponding encryption mode(Diagram 8).After selection, press “completion”key, then press “confirmation”key for completion of password setting. The product is able to re-start WIFI automatically, the user has to enter “setting” of mobile phone for corresponding WIFI selection of the product, input just set password, then WIFI is well connected. Key setting is completed.

3. Wire setting: (Regular user does not need to set this item)

Click “wire setting” icon for entering diagram 9, make corresponding change, then press “ confirmation” key for exit.

4. Bridge setting: This is used for realizing relay function. It serves as a function for relay signal amplification, that is to say one can have internet access without pl ing internet wire.

 

First step: Click for entering “bridge setting”, then as in diagram 10, select “AP Client”, click “confirmation”. After confirmation, WIFI will re-start.

Second step: User has to enter “bridge setting” again according to the above step “1”, after entering, then as in diagram 11.

Now select your required network name for bridge in “ access point list”in the diagram, for example, “MERCURY_F68E9E” is selected, after selection, press “confirmation” key, then wait for a while, WIFI will be restarted automatically for entering bridge mode. Now user has to reconnect with WIFI of the product, the product can be used for external internet access.

• Internet access setting: Here select the mode of internet access. Generally speaking, user does not need to change this item, just uses default “dynamic(automatic) acquisition”.

Second step: Click right column of WAN online mode as diagram 13 below, after corresponding mode selection, press “completion” key, then press “confirmation”key for finishing setting.

6. Network file: When sharing files in USB disk, it is required to set this item of “network file”. Files in USB disk are shared through SAMBA mode. Click “start” in diagram 14, then click “confirmation”, it will be done. Generally speaking, when the product is delivered from the factory, SAMBA has been already set so user does not need to set this “share” function.

7. Advanced setting: Advanced setting has many functions and regular user does not need to use them. Normally two functions are used. One function is change of WIFI name (SSID) while the other function is bridge release. 

7.1 Change of WIFI name:

First step: Click “advanced setting” icon for entering, then click “wireless network setting”for extention, click “basic setting” as in diagram 15, input your required name in the right column of “Network Name(SSID)”. Then click “confirmation”. After change of WIFI name completed, WIFI can be reconnected with new WIFI name by user.

7.2 Bridge release mode: When user does not need relay any more, relay function has to be released with a shift from wire connection to WIFI. 

First step: Click “advanced setting” icon for entering, then click operation mode on the left with diagram 16 appeared.

   Second step: Select “Gateway”, then click “OK”, bridge mode will be released.

 

8. FTP setting: Click “FTP setting” for entering diagram 17, click “start”, then click “confirmation” for starting FTP for remote sharing of USB disk contents.

9. 3G internet access: Diagram 18 is the interface of “3G internet access”

IV. Use description for USB disk share

File reading, copy, paste, upload/download, audio/video play and etc. are realized through the use of “ES file browser” for USB disk share. “ES file browser”as shown in diagram 19 is a free software which can be downloaded from internet for use.

First step: Click “ES file browser” icon for entering diagram 20 interface. Click “share”, if it is the first time for use, it is required to click “search” icon, get out of dialogue box, correspondingly input user name and password, user name: admin, password: admin. If WIFI is already on and well connected, now option of “192.168.10.1” can be searched.

Second step: Click “192.168.10.1” for entering diagram 21, then click option of “Public”.

Third step: Click option of “sda1” for entering the root directory of USB disk as shown in diagram 22 below, all the files and file folders in USB disk can be read.

Fourth step: If there is video or audio here, click it to have its play on mobile phone. Copy/paste can be realized through this “ES file browser”.

V. Description of shift from wire connection to WIFI:

1. Plug internet wire in the terminal interface for internet wire of the product, then turn on WIFI switch of the product.

2. After WIFI started (about one minute), click “setting”of mobile phone, then turn on WIFI, select WIFI name of the product and get connected. 。

3. After connection, WIFI Internet access of the cellphone can be realized.
