General

VTM type vertical superfine grinding mill is the digestion and absorption of foreign technology and design of the equipment, it with pressure roller on a rotating disc material (0~15mm) on grinding disc will grind till it reaches the thinness(325~3000 meshes) as required. Main processes are embodied in the full contact of roll, disc and material and grading precision of the grading system. It is applicable for the grinding of superfine materials in metallurgy, electricity, chemical industry, cement, refractory materials especial nonmetallic mineral and so on.

The vertical mill integrates functions such as grinding, power selection and drying. Compared to other grinding equipment such as ball mill and Raymond mill, it has a series of advantages and characteristics such as high efficiency, energy saving, efficient power, low abrasion, high drying, easy to replace wearing parts, simple process flow, small land occupation and high complex economic benefits, ect. Therefore, vertical mills are popular in the split process industry, and it has been widely used in calcite, calcium carbide, steatite, kaolin, manganese ore, gypsum powder, zircon sand and silicon metal, ect.

 Operation principle

Motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the speed reducer, meanwhile, it drives the roll to rotate through belt gear, materials fall at the center of the grinding disc from the feed port, meanwhile, hot air enters the mill from the air inlet. With the centrifugal force effect, the materials move to the edges of the grinding disc, which are ground, cut and crushed when moving along the ring channel on the disc, the crushed materials were blown by high air flow at the edges of the disc for re-crushing. When the material s travel through the grading machine, with the rotary rollers effect, coarse powder will fall on the disc again, and the qualified thin powders will go with the air for collection in the collecting device, the production is completed. Materials with water will be dried when contacting hot air so as to reach the water requirements. The air flow will be recycled, during the recycle, a little redundant air and light sundries in the finished products will be collected by branch dust collectors, thus it forms a scientific and advanced process flow.

 1.Low operation cost: high grinding efficiency, low electricity consumption, compared to ball mills and Raymond mills, the power consumption is reduced by 40%~50%. Low materials consumption, roll ring and liners made of special materials, long service life, reduction of metal pollution, and reduction of operation costs. Outside recycle devices can be installed to further reduce the electricity consumption and improve the product precision.

2.Reduction of land occupation: the land occupation area of vertical mill and ball mill system can be reduced by about 50%, and the construction costs are reduced by about 70%. Due to the integration of crushing, drying, grinding and grading as well as simple system, the construction costs are very low.

3.Easy and reliable operation: it is designed with automatic control and it is easy to operate. It is designed with devices to prevent from the direct contact between roll ring and disc liner, so there will be intense destructive shock.

4.Easy to repair: through the repair oil cylinder slip frame, roll ring and refractory inner ring(50SiMn) can be replaced in a short time.

5.Low public menace: small vibration, low noise, system operation under negative pressure, without dust outflow.

6.Steady product quality: material will be in the mill for short time, it is easy to test and control the product granularity and chemical components. The product is equipped with powder grading machine to grade products with 325-3000 meshes, it has high grading precision, accurate grain cutting and steady product quality
