COMPOSITION :  Ingredients (Botanical Name)

Sonth (Zingiber officinale): Potent Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory and Antimicrobial Herb; Alleviates pain and swelling of Inflamed Joints, and promotes mobility; Significant Anti-emetic activity; Efficiently allays Headache and Malaise; Supports Liver Functions; Promotes Digestion and Metabolism; Significantly reduces intensity and duration of Pain in Primary Dysmenorrhea1

Souf (Faniculum Vulgare) : Potent Antioxidant that endows a natural sweet flavour and aroma to the Herbal Tea; Alleviates Sore throat and Heartburn; Improves appetite and digestion; Useful in Primary Dysmenorrhea as well.

Lavang (Syzygium aromaticum) : Eugenol from Lavang significantly protects against bacterial and viral respiratory pathogens and allied inflammation; Improves Digestion and Metabolism as well.

Elaichi Choti (Eleteria Cardamomum) : Adds flavour and Aroma; Alleviates Nausea, Motion Sickness and Indigestion; Endows a Soothing and Calming Relief owing to its Aroma therapeutic action.

Elachi Bari (Amomum Suvulatum): Cardamom has a fresh and aromatic aroma. By virtue of the traditional drying procedure over open flames, the spice also acquires a strong smoky flavour. Medicinally the seeds are credited with stimulant, stomachic, alexipharmic and astringent properties and are prescribed in the the treatment of common cold & cough, leucorrhoea, indigestion, vomiting, biliousness abdominal pains and rectal diseases. It is used in gastrointestinal and genito-urinary complaints. It is also very effective in female white disease. A decoction of seeds is used as a gargle in affections of the teeth and gum with melon seeds.

Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum): Improves metabolic derangements associated with Insulin Resistance; Protects against Diabetic Neuropathy and Nephropathy5.
 
Mulhethi (Glycyrroiza): Licorice is sweet and nourishing and is regarded in Ayurvedic medicine as a lung tonic. It is both demulcent and an expectorant. Licorice is taken for adrenal insufficiency. It is an anti-inflammatory and antiulcer herb, somewhat more preferred by men than women since excessive amounts have been associated with hirsutism. In moderation, there is no risk of this. In any event, use should be cautious since licorice can promote fluid retention.

Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon Citratus Staps): Gokshura is an important plant in Ayurveda. This plant is used as a cure for diseases such as gonorrhoea, dysuria, kidney and bladder stones, rheumatism, sciatica, nephritis, oedema, dyspnea, haemorrhoids, diabetes and cough. The extracts of gokshura possess anti-microbial properties.  Lemongrass is recommended to reduce three doshas viz., Vata, Pitta and Kapha. 

Banafsa (Viola): The herb is used as expectorant, diaphoretic and antipyretic. The herb shows antibacterial and antifungal activities, and hence used in the treatment of eczema. It is used in the form of sarbat. The flowers are emollient, demulcent and are said to relieve pain due to cancerous frowth. The leaves in large doses and seeds are cathartic.

Patraz (Cinnamomum Tamala): It is an important spice and aromatic crop having wide applications in flavoring, perfumery, beverages, and medicines. Cinnamon is such a dietary component that has shown to have biologically active substances with insulin-mimetic properties. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that Cinnamon enhances glucose uptake by activating the insulin receptor kinase activity, auto-phosphorylation of the insulin receptor, and glycogen synthase activity.

Gandhbala (Pavonia Adorata): It treating dysentery, inflammation and certain other intestinal infections. Sugandha Bala essential oil has carminative, antimicrobial, demulcent, cooling, diuretic, antispasmodic, antiprotozoal, astringent and diaphoretic properties. This oil also has strong anthelmintic activity against roundworms and tapeworms.

Sarpunkha (Tephrosia Purpurea): Sharpunkha also known as Tephrosia purpurea or Wild indigo/ fish poison is the drug of choice for all liver and spleen disorders. As spleen plays an important in maintenance of the RBCs; is very useful in maintaining normal hemoglobin level and functioning of blood. By improving the liver functions; Sharpunkha corrects the working of the digestive system and benefits in metabolic disorders. Sharpunkha benefits in cough and respiratory distress. It also possesses kidney protecting property.

DIRECTIONS : A cup of Dpure Gotukola Tea twice or thrice daily. Dip the tea bag in a cup of hot water for 2-3 minutes. Add honey, if desired.
