Tea Saponin-Air entraining agent

Tea saponin, a glycoside compound extracted from tea seeds. It has two characteristics, one is surface activity, the other is biologic activity. After formulation, it can be widely used in pesticide, textile chemical and architecture fields and so on as a natural surfactants. 

It can be used to make emulsifier, detergent, pesticide adjuvant, feedstuff additive, textile additive, mining foaming agent and air entraining agent. We have two kinds of saponin which have the same usage in applications but different appearance and specification.

Air entraining agent is an important material of concrete. The mainly materials is triterpenoid, it can improve the frost resistance and durability of concrete. Our product is more effective than the traditional air entraining that include rosin soap. 

Our product have a lot of characteristic, such as to low surface strength of liquor, to produce bubble with big sparkling amount, small space and long stability and so on. It have strong potential in the field of concrete project.

The series product of Saponin is developed be our company CHOISUN as a natural adjuvant of non-ion surface-active agent. It is in leading technology with its notoxicity, minimum pollution, and easy to use. There are two kinds of the saponin in the form of powder and liquid, that is 95% SAP and 41% SAL. The detail information is described as follows:

SAP( powder)

1.   Physical color: pale yellow to yellowish brown powder

2.   PH: 4.0-6.0

3.   1% solution of water: pale yellow, transparent, no sediments, no floating  matters

4.   Dry decrease: ≤5%

5.   Active matter content: ≥95%

6.   Moist time: ≤1 minute

7.   Thin degree:(through 200 meshes) ≥95%

8.  Package: packed in foil bags,10kg/bag

SAL (liquid)

1.   Physical color: brown red, no sediments, no floating matters 

2.   Active matter content: ≥41%%

3.   PH: 4.0-6.0

4.  Baume Degree:≥20 

5.  Package: Packed in plastic bottles. 200kg/drum

This products can be widely applied in various forms of pesticides for leaf spraying to provide quick wetting, more uniform coverage and increase retention of sprays by reducing the surface tension of the spray droplets on the leaves.

It can form a thin film on the leaves of plant, increasing humid, spreader and permeability, reduce the plant surface wastage and accelerate the absorption and plants conduction, with the capacity of weather resistance, hence to improve efficacy, reduce the use of pesticide and lower the costs. It is a new natural and environmental adjuvant.
