Fireclay brick is made of flint clay and clay. The raw material is granded and mixed with automatic blender. Then shaped by 400MT punching machine. After dying, the brick is fired in tonnel kiln, then selected and packaged. Strict quality control is implemented in every process of production to ensure the good and stable product quality.
Fireclay bricks are made from clinker clay by mixing, forming, drying, sintering and machining. The Al2O3 content ranges from 36% to 42%.
Fireclay bricks feature stable mechanical strength and good thermal shock resistance, withstanding high temperature up to 1750.
They are commonly applied as refractory lining directly exposed to heat or backup insulation layer in all kinds of industrial kiln or laboratory furnace.
The main chemical components of fire clay brick: Al2O3 content is 30%-48%, SiO2 content is 50%-65%, and a small number of alkali metals, metal oxides, etc. Mineral composition is usually mullite, quartz and glass phase. Its refractoriness is 1580-1750 °C, refractoriness under load is 1250-1450 °C, with good thermal resistance and strong ability to resist acid slag. Fire Clay Brick is used for lower parts of regenerators, hot blast stove, furnaces of metallurgic, building material, glass, ferrous metal and so on.
