The Quantum Series digital ballast has features not found with any other brand of ballast currently on the market. Every need of both the hobby and professional gardener has been taken into consideration when we were developing these ballasts.

One of the major factors that contributes to the purchase of digital lighting, is the increased power savings. The Quantum Series ballast is the only ballast on the market to offer you a dimming switch that enables you to run your ballast at the strength YOU desire. This not only makes it easier to harden off young plants just being introduced to HID lighting, but also allows you to control your footprint and power usage as well. You can increase the power to your ballast as your garden grows and demands more light, and save yourself a substantial amount of money on your power bill over the length of your crop cycle.

Another key point of the Quantum 1000 Watt Dimmable Electronic Ballast is they have no dedicated voltage. Switching between 120v and 240v is as easy as changing the power cords. Both, of course, are included with your ballast. There is no need to purchase any additional equipment or change any wiring. Heat has always been the enemy of any gardening situation. We have designed our ballast with a resin cased circuit board that has been placed in conjunction with a sealed bearing fan. This combines the best of both worlds with the end result being a ballast that runs 15% cooler than any other digital ballast available. As with all electronics, the cooler they run, the longer they will last. The Quantum Series Lighting is the only ballast that is FULLY compliant with Part 18 of FCC rules and regulations & UL Listed.
