Features of Cone Rubber Fender for Jetty:

 

1. The latest design construction

Cone Fenders with the conical body shape and frontal mount steel frame are the latest generation product of “cell” type fenders, with optimal performance and efficiency. They provide an excellent energy capability with a low reaction (their designed compress deformation rise from 52.5% to 70% while the reaction force is unchanged.). The conical design and circular mounting base make them extremely stable fenders especially where angular performance is required.

2. Excellent energy capability

The normal compression of a Cone Fender is 70% and its maximum compression is 72%. They are available in sizes from 500mm high to 1800mm high.

How to calculate the surface pressure of Steel panel of Cone Rubber Fender for Jetty?

Formula: FB ≥ R/[(L-0.1) x (B-0.2)]

Where,

 

FB is surface pressure (KN/m²);

L is the contact length of steel panel (m);

B is the width of steel panel (m);

R is the maximum reaction force (kN).

The design of steel panel shall be according to quay structure type, berthing vessel, hydrologic condition and fender arrangement etc. Please contact us for the detailed design.

The arrangement of steel panel

1. a. Horizontal arrangement: fenders are arranged horizontally, e.g., 1 x 1, 2 x 1, 3 x 1 etc.;

1. b. Vertical arrangement: fenders are arranged vertically, e.g.,1 x 1, 1 x 2, 1 x 3 etc.;

1. c. Other arrangement for multiple fenders.
