Rapid Malaria Test Kit is a simple, rapid test for the diagnosis of malaria using serum/plasma samples. A positive result by One Step malaria P. F. Test allows for detection of malaria parasites and for differentiation of Plasmodium Falciparum (P. F. ) from other less virulent malaria species.

 Procedure

 For Whole Blood specimen: 

1) Dispense 1 drops (35 μl) of Whole Blood specimen on the  Malaria rapid diagnostic test kit , below the MAX line. using the plastic dropper provided. 

2) Add 1 drops of Sample Diluent to the sample pad, immediately after the specimen is added, from the dropper tip diluent vial (or all contents from the single test ampule).

3) Interpret test results at 15 minutes. 

 
For serum or plasma specimens:

 1) Dispense 2 drops (70 μl) of serum/plasma specimen to the sample pad of the Malaria rapid diagnostic test kit using the plastic dropper provided according to the figure.2) start the timer and wait for the colored line(s) to appear. 3) Interpret test results at 15 minutes.
