2. the air is propelled through 3mm slit in the frame at 55mph;
3. air passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp which channels its direction
4. as it is pushed out of the fan, surrounding air is drawn into the airflow-making the volume of air 15 times more and, because there are no rotor blades much smoother
