This tester is used for testing the softness and hardness of spring mattress and evaluating the hardness level.

4. Testing steps

A. put the specimen (mattress) under the tester.

B. connect it to the power supply and turn on switch, then move the specimen to the left or to the right and adjust it to the testing position. Test the testing steps in the computer (please refers to the instruction of software TM2101, installs and upgrades guide line.)

C. presses the button "test" to start the testing.

D. writes down the testing results after the tests finished.

5. Test results

Mattress softness and hardness value (HY) is the average slope when the loading deflection curve is 210N, 275N and 340N (the ratio between loading force and loading point depression depth), the average load deflection curve

HY=C1+C2+C3/3

Remark:

           C1: 210 N is the slope when loading

C2: 275 N is the slope when loading

           C3: 340 N is the slope when loading
