Product Description
Density: 9.7g/cm3Min.
Chemical composition: Mo-1 99.95%Min.
This product is made of molybdenum powder FMo-1 with the addition of trace element.
The surface have no defects, such as superfusion, blister, divided layer, crackle,etc.
Characteristic:
The high temperature molybdenum mandrels have been developed by our company and the materials science & engineer Institute.The R&D crafts include selecting and mixing raw materials which are compressed into embryos material,sintering in the intermediate frequency furnace in 1850-1950°C and then turning and molding.The average density of the products is more than 9.7g/cm3.Compared with the common molybdenum mandrels,the density improves 2%-6%,the Vickers hardness reaches above 350kg/mm2 and the abrasion resistance increase 60%-80%
Additional composition
Ti(1.0~2.0)%, Zr:(0.1~0.5)%, C: (0.1~0.5)% and other trace element. Chemical composition
Main applications:
Mainly used for piercing steel tubes, such as stainless steel tubes, high-temperature alloy steel and seamless steel tube, etc.
