Besides the traditional advantage of Lithium manganese batteries, the thin cells have the following advantages:
Good safety: Using soft aluminium foil in structures, which greatly reduces the probability to occur explosion, fire.
Small volume: Under the same capacity, the volume would be smaller 15% than the batteries with metal shell since the special housing material of the thin cells.
Light weight: Under the same capacity, the weight is lighter 40% than the cells with metal shell.
High capacity: Under the same volume, the capacity is higher 10% than the battery with metal shell.
Higher discharge current and discharge level: It is almost vacuum state inside the battery, the contact between the positive, separator and negative are more closely, so as to provide higher discharge current and discharge level, even it can reach above 3C as discharge ability for some cells in special using.
Wide range of temperatures: can be used under -40~75.
Low self-discharge: The rate of self-discharge per year is smaller than 2%.
Flexibility in shape & size: it is high flexible to make the package of cells, which can meet customers customize requirements moch more.
