Acrylic Freestanding Bathtub PB1012
We are the professional manufacturer for solid surface products. We offer three kinds of materials: one is Modified Acrylic, which is consist of Polyester and Aluminum TryHydrate; the second one is Pure Acrylic which is consist of PMMA and Aluminum TryHydrate, and the last one is glossy marble, which is consist of polyester and calcuim carbonate with a surface of gel coat and final polishing. For Modified Acrylic, it it the most popular material to be used for the solid surface products, because of it's competitive price. But due to Polyester chemical characteristic, Modified Acrylic solid surface would not be very strong and stable enough. And it would get yellow after half a year or one or two years. Sometimes crack happen to the tub or basin. Modified Acrylic solid surface would be suitable for mid-end markets and low-end markets.
About the glossy marble, it is easy to clean. But it could not stand the hot water, and since the thin layer of gel coat on the surface, you may always find some scratches on the glossy products. The glossy marble is also suitable for mid-end markets and low-end markets.
Here we want to recommend you the solid surface which is as same as Corian, called Pure Acrylic solid surface. Different from Polyester, PMMA makes the products strong enough and never been to yellow. And it could stand the high temperature. But the price would be a little higher than Modified Acrylic solid surface and gloss marble. It would be more suitable for high-end markets.
