Honeycomb ceramics, based on its superior characteristics in temperature, low resistance and heat preservation, is counted as the main component in high temperature air combustion (HTAC), as well as the core component in regenerative burner. Industrial furnaces which apply HTAC technology will achieve the following advantages after honeycomb ceramics is used in HTAC devices for heat exchange:
1. Conserve energy by 10%-70%
2. CO2 contained in smoke will be reduced by 10%-70%, and NOx will be reduced by over 40%
3. Increased and uniform average furnace temperature makes the output to witness an increase of over 20%.
