Normally, NFC stickers placed on metal will not work due to interference from the metal. However, Mount on metal tag have a special isolation layer allowing them to work on metal, for instance when placed on a metallic laptop case. These stickers are about the thickness of a penny due to the extra layer.
Mount on metal tag is also called as Metal Surface Tag, or anti-metal tag. It include a chip, a Ferrite material, and self-adhesive sticker.
It is metal-isolated, which means it can be placed directly on metal. It will work on metallic surfaces such as your macbook pro.
The available chip are Mifare Classic 1K, mifare Ultralight, NXP ICODE 2…..
It can be made of Paper or PVC. White or Printed are both available.
PVC stickers can be used as out door use, and more water, weatherproof.
