Ball in these materials are case-hardened only (surface heat treatment).

Low carbon steel balls offer considerable saving in all those applications which do not require the use of through hardened balls.

The most common applications include furnire wheels, bearings for drawers, locks, grease nipple, sliding blocks, toys.
