E-Glass Chopped Strand Mat
Product Description
Our products provide outstanding performance in a variety of hand lay-up applications to mold many types of composites with both polyester and vinylester resins for use in the transportation, recreation, marine and construction sectors.
The chopped strand mat is made with medium size strands of E Glass Roving, held together by a powder or emulsion binder which is extremely soluble in styrene. The basic strand has a sizing system containing a silane coupling agent. This sizing system combined the binder properties make the chopped strand mat suitable with epoxy, vinylester and anti-corrosion resins.
