Xinsen PAC 20 is a powdered carbon manufactured specifically for excellent purification performance for removal of color bodies and a broad range of other impurities. PAC 20 is characterized by large specific surface area, strong adsorptive power, low impurity content, and effective filtering ability. This product is particularly effective for the purification of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food products, juices, and wines. Xinsen PAC 20 is manufactured from wood (sawdust) using a chemical (H3PO4) activation process. PAC 20 meets the food-grade quality of activated carbons as defined in the current edition of the Food Chemicals Codex.
