Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter (PBC/S) is a compact high performance lightwave component that combines two orthogonal polarization signals into the output fiber.
PBC/S is manufactured using Fujikura PM Panda fiber to suit different requirements. It is widely used in EDFA or Raman Amplifer systems. Due to PBC/S has extremely low insertion loss, it can improve the amplifier performance.
