Established in 1980, Zhangjiagang New Gangxing Technology Co.,Ltd. covers an area of 153,500 M2 and has total assets of five billion(RMB). The mill produces and sells Precision Cold Rolled Steel Sheets, Galvanized Steel Sheets, Prepainted Galvanized Steel Sheets, Prepainted Aluminum Sheets, Tinplate and all kinds of Channels. With total capacity of 800,000 Metric Tons of steel materials per year, the mill has become a modernized enterprise that integrates R&D, manufacturing, trade and service. The products are widely applied in Industrial Design, Home Appliances, Building, Food Packaging etc. and export to 90 countries and regions like Europe, USA, Middle East, South East Asian Countries and Africa.

Gangxing is also a Hi-Tech enterprise of Jiangsu Province. It has technical innovation platforms such as Provincial Postgraduate Workstation, Provincial Engineering & Technology Research Center, etc and jointly established a laboratory with Shenzhen Research Institute of Tsinghua University. As early as in 1980, the enterprise successfully developed the first 500mm width Alu-Zinc Silicon alloyed steel strip line, which actually filled the blank of our country, and was awarded the Gold Medal of Spark Plan Exposition. In 1998, it also participated in constituting the National Standard of Light Steel Profiles for Building. In 2002, it was certified by BBS as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.

Gangxing has 400 employees, 30% of which have college education and 5 professors, 3 high-tech engineers,11 with master degree. It also holds 3 invention patents and 12 utility model patents. Depending on research and technology of universities and institutions like Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Northeastern University, Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Gangxing has displayed excellent performance and gained fruitful achievements in new products development, production process and technological innovation.
