Density of Si3N4 ceramic is 3.20g/cm3, much lower than 7.85g/cm3 of bearing steel. Therefore ceramic rolling elements could effectively reduce centrifugal force when high speed rotating, releasing loads of rolling elements, holding up Rotational slide between rolling elements and raceway face, which is good to avoiding damage on surface.
1. High speed: freeze resistant, stress flexibility is small, compressive reinforcement, bad heat-conducting property, light self-weight, small coefficient of friction, etc. It is suitable for 1200 r/min--12000r/min, on high speed spindle and other high-precision instruments.
2. Heat- Resistance: temperature is high up to 1200℃, with good self-lubricate, no expansion because of temperature distance among 100℃-800℃.
3. Corrosion-Resistance: suitable for environment of strong acid, strong base, inorganic and organic salt, sea water etc.
