1)Typical Mechanical Properties at Room Temperature
Characteristic of Magnesium alloy ingot: Magnesium is the lightest of all the commonly used metals. The high comparative strength can be obtained when magnesium is used as an alloy with aluminum, copper, zinc and other metals. The comparative strength is higher than aluminum alloy and steel, slightly lower than fiber-reinforced plastic.
The mechanical properties of a die-cast alloy depend strongly on the fabrication variables involved, as well as on the alloy composition.
