This small tool weighs almost nothing, yet can be a life saver, the 21" steel cutting chain is very effective in cutting through solid logs (green or seasoned) of substantial diameter. It should be possible to cut a log of 10" in diameter without a strain. (Of course, smaller logs can be cut fastest as the teeth cut more with each arm pull.) Bi-directional cutting. Tapered teeth prevent blade sticking.
Put this in your camping or hiking pack and leave it there so you will always know you have it available. Coated for rust resistance.
