We offer a selection of high precision cylindrical lenses, both positive and negative, in glass and fused silica. These lenses are well suited for applications which require magnification in one dimension only. Examples include energy collection for linear detectors or for coupling to a slit input, source generation for barcode scanners, circularization of diode laser outputs, one-dimensional image compression, and other similar applications.

Our lenses are designed to meet demanding requirements of laser Electro-optic applications. We offer a large selection of both spherical lenses in materials like fine annealed BK7 glass and UV fused silica. These lenses are available in either uncoated or antireflection coated, with choice of high transmission broadband coating or laser line V-coating. Extensive selections of standard diameters and focal lengths can be found. Our lenses include plano convex lenses, double convex lenses, plano concave lenses, double concave lenses, achromatic doublet lenses, aspheric condenser, gradium, gradient index micro lenses, spherical ball micro lenses, microspot objective, telecentric lenses and more.
Wedge prism is commonly used in laser system for eliminating the reflections from the second surface or for beam steering. Standard and broadband antireflection coatings are available upon request, see our standard optics components below.
